What to do in 10 days in Brittany?

Day 1: Rennes

A must-see city in Brittany, located in Ille-et-Vilaine, Rennes is rich in cultural heritage. In the historic center of the city, you will find charming half-timbered houses that give the city a unique charm. Also known for its academic dynamism, Rennes is a young and welcoming city where life is pleasant.

Days 2 and 3: Saint-Malo and its surroundings (Dinard, Cancale, Cap Fréhel)

It will take several days to fully enjoy the bay of Saint-Malo. Start your journey in the Corsair city, Saint-Malo, where you can enjoy an exceptional view of the city and the bay from your walk along the ramparts. Let yourself be charmed by Dinard, the famous seaside resort, where the landscape is dominated by the old villas from the 1960s. Don’t forget to visit Cancale, the perfect place to taste delicious oysters on the quay facing the bay of Mont Saint-Michel! Finally, head to Cap Fréhel, one of the largest spots in Brittany, where you will have an exceptional view of part of the Breton coast.

Day 4: Île de Brehat

Also known as “Flower Island“, Île de Brehat, located off Paimpol, is a little piece of paradise. The island, thanks to its microclimate, has a very rich flora and fauna. In fact, there are many species of birds from which you can easily listen to songs because the island is car-free, so silence reigns! With its wild nature and beautiful beaches, the island is one of the most beautiful in Brittany, so it’s unthinkable to travel to Brittany without visiting this must-see island!

Day 5: Pink Granite Coast (Perros-Guirec, Trégastel)

An iconic destination of Côtes d’Armor, the Pink Granite Coast is a remarkable place where the dotted rocks take on shades of pink. On this coast, you can visit the famous seaside resort of Perros-Guirec, a must in Brittany, and a great place to spend a family vacation! Then, discover Trégastel, a popular family resort with a rich cultural heritage thanks to its many megalithic monuments and numerous religious buildings.

Day 6: Crozon Peninsula (Île Vierge, Morgat, Camaret-sur-Mer)

Located at the end of Brittany, the Crozon Peninsula is a true paradise and has many places to visit! Among these must-see places, we start with Île Vierge, which is actually a very small peninsula. Here is the seventh most beautiful beach in Europe, Porzh Pesk, also known as the beach of Île Vierge, where the white sand and turquoise water almost make us believe we are on a Caribbean beach. Another must-see place on the peninsula: Morgat. The famous locality of Morgat is also a small village with beautiful beaches. Its unique sea caves and small shops and restaurants add to its charm. Finally, to complete your visit to the Crozon Peninsula, a detour is mandatory from Camaret-sur-Mer. A small fishing port with a rich architectural heritage. Once in Camaret, don’t miss the Pen-Hir point, which offers an exceptional view!

Day 7: Concarneau and Pont-Aven

Known for its small meatballs, Pont-Aven has other advantages as well. Between city and nature with the river running through the village, Pont-Aven is a great place for painting enthusiasts, as it is where Gauguin founded a school of painters. Located near Pont-Aven, Concarneau is a must-see city in Brittany. A city of art and history, Concarneau has a rich heritage and is one of the most beautiful bays in Brittany. It offers an exceptional view of the bay of Concarneau.

Day 8: Quiberon Peninsula

A must in Brittany, the Quiberon Peninsula is one of the most beautiful on the coast. With its beautiful beaches on one side and its stunning wild coast on the other, the Quiberon Peninsula offers a rich variety of landscapes. More beautiful than the others.

Day 9: Vannes

Located in the heart of the Gulf of Morbihan, Vannes is a city with a rich cultural heritage, in fact, the city has many monuments with a rich history. But it is also a perfect city for family vacations.

Day 10: Paimpont Forest/Brocéliande

Paimpont Forest, better known as Brocéliande Forest, is located near Rennes, and where myths and legends reign, it is in this forest that the legend of King Arthur was born! Brocéliande Forest is a magical place. For children, you can explore through long hikes in the heart of nature.
