Tips for Beautiful Feet in Sandals
Before diving into the lively topic of sandals and other summer shoes, it is important to take care of your feet beforehand to have beautiful feet in your new shoes.
As we know, women torture their feet by wearing high-heeled shoes that can deform the foot or cause pain throughout the body, especially in the back. Summer is the time of year when heels clearly don’t have to shine; flat sandals can do the trick as long as the feet are well-groomed, and that can take a bit of work. It’s worth noting that you should take care of your feet all year round and not just in spring and summer.
First of all, it is important to remove dead skin from the feet, which is why a foot scrub is a quick treatment to do every week, especially in the shower. You can also use an exfoliating foot mask; the results are spectacular, but do it several days before wearing open shoes. Here’s an example of these peel-off foot masks. Also, spend some time on your heels every month.
Next, it is necessary to moisturize your feet with a rich cream for very dry feet. It is important to massage for a long time to properly penetrate the cream deeply into the epidermis, which is not at all the same as on the rest of the body. This long foot massage is also good for relaxation, so do it gently. There are even moisturizing foot masks like slippers, which are convenient too.
Then, it’s important to take care of the nails; a pedicure can be done at the salon or at home. For this, cut your nails straight, then gently file them, making sure to round the edges to avoid ingrown nails, which are unsightly and painful. If you have a pedicure kit, use a polisher to give a bit of shine to your nails. For nail polish, use a toe separator; it will be easier, and opt for a color that matches the sandals you are going to wear. However, you should stay within the same shades as your nail polish on your hands.
Finally, when buying new sandals, be sure not to wear them immediately every day so that your foot gets used to them. You can also opt for a special invisible transparent insole for open shoes to make your summer shoes more comfortable, as they don’t always have soles as good as closed shoes.
Summer Trends
This year again, we continue our fight against flip-flops, which are not the most comfortable shoes to wear and do not offer the same aesthetic as the shoes in our summer selection. Sandals hold the foot better and truly dress the foot.
In 2020, the colors white, silver, gold, and citrus (red, orange, and yellow) are really the colors we recommend for bright and fresh summer sandals. However, black and dark colors are not completely excluded as they offer a very different aesthetic and graphic appeal.
Wedge sandals are a good option this year, especially with a raffia style like espadrilles. We have shoes that represent the summer season. These sandals can be either wedge-heeled or platform wedges.
Generally speaking, shoes made of raffia or other woven textures are in fashion, adding texture and charm to the shoes.
Flat Sandals
Women’s flat sandals are the most common models; there are thousands of them. On one hand, we can distinguish sandals with simple, straight straps in colors like brown or evening shades, and on the other hand, sandals with more original shapes and textures.
